Our philosophy of “Rent Mel” is a place with “happy baking” every day throughout the year. A place where we work with the very best organic ingredients. Where the playfulness and creativity is a natural part of our everyday life. Good craftsmanship, good commodities, positivity and work satisfaction. This is our driving force, inspiration and goal with Rent Mel.
With this philosophy as background, we are constantly searching for the best organic commodities, from Kirkenes in the north to Kristiansand in the south. With honest craftsmanship and curiosity, we develop new recipes for bread, cakes, and pizza.
We hope that this will give you something extra besides pure food happiness, every time you visit Rent Mel. We hope that our profile handmade with pure raw materials will contribute to a better world; for all of us and those who come after us.
Our flour varieties are 100% organic and biodynamic. We work with Berte Qvarn in Southern-Sweden and with Hurum Mølle outside Oslo. Grains we use are rye, spelled, wheat and oats.
